I'm looking for someone to rent a room with its own private bathroom from 17 February 2025 until 30 September 2025, with the possibility of extending it upon mutual agreement. The apartment is in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The address indicated on this add is only a reference, and I will give you the exact address once we agree on the visit.Apartment: 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The available bedroom is fully furnished, in the same style as in the pictures. The bed is 200x160cm, and there is also a desk, chair, and big wardrobe. You will also have your own ensuite bathroom, which has a shower, toilet, towel warmer, mirror, handbasin and plenty of storage space. The bedrooms are separated by the living room, so you have some privacy. The only thing you will share is the kitchen/living/dining room and the large terrace outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room has a sofa and a smart TV, among others. In the other bedroom there is a woman living for some days of the week only, since her family lives in another country and she goes back there during weekends.Area: the area is really nice, with a Jumbo supermarket and restaurants. The metro stop (Holendrecht) is, literally, a stone throw away. It has two lines, which will leave you in the Central Station or Zuidas in 20 minutes. It's on a high floor and the windows are really thick, so it's quiet and bright. There is a central park in the complex, with tables, barbecues, a canal and some green areas. Behind the building there's a basketball and football court, and an outdoor gym.Price: not included in your rent are all expenses (water, electricity, heating, internet, garbage collection, waste water treatment, community costs, and so on) and parking, if needed. About sharing: you will be sharing with a commuter from Austria, who is in the apartment only Mondays to Thursdays, since her family is back in Austria, where she spends Thursdays to Mondays. I'm looking for someone reliable, who is quiet, clean, respectful and tidy. If you leave dishes unwashed, like to throw big parties, walk with your shoes on around the apartment, or scream on the phone on loudspeakers every time you're called, do not bother contacting me, it wouldn't work out. Also if you are going to insist on smoking (including cigarettes, drugs, or any other form of smoking) in the apartment or on the balcony, this is a non-negotiable no-go. Smoking is only allowed downstairs in the park, without exceptions, and is a cause to rescind the contract without returning the deposit if you are caught or are suspected of doing so in the apartment or the terrace, including out the window. From your side, it is ok to bring your partner over for visits, always consulting with me in advance, but not to live permanently (e.g. for 3 nights every 2 weeks is ok, but really not more). Friends over not possible during the week, I avoid doing the same. For weekends, always consult and agree beforehand.Renting time: you can start the rental from 17 February 2025. In principle we're looking for someone until 30 September 2025, with the possibility of extending the contract upon mutual agreement.We can of course arrange a viewing, in person or by video call, whenever you wish just let me know.
