A fully furnished characteristic 10m² private room is available in one of the safest areas of Amsterdam’s city center, starting July 1st (not earlier).The room has been recently renovated and is equipped with a double bed, desk, chair, closet, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a washing machine. The room also has a south-facing balcony, ensuring sunlight all day, and features a wooden floor. There is no shared living room, but there is a kitchen where you can eat and relax.You’ll be sharing the apartment with a couple and their two children (ages 5 and 10). The children are relaxed, but you should be comfortable living with a family. Additionally, there is another international 21-year-old girl living here. The shared spaces include the bathroom, kitchen, and balcony. Everyone in the house is easygoing and works full-time.The rent is 1000,- per month, all included. Available from July 1st, 2025. Contract: Initial 9-month contract, with the possibility of extension, if all goes well. Shorter stays are possible with a minimum of 4 months. No couples, please.Public transport stops right outside the building. The apartment is ideally located at the corner of the Jordaan and Westerpark, an area where both locals and expats live. It is not the touristic side of town, so you can perfectly sleep at night. Just a very safe and calm area. The library and a gym are just across the street.We are looking for a calm, responsible, and respectful girl between 18-24 years old, who works or studies full-time (outside the house), or is doing an internship. Someone who values cleanliness, prefers to party outside the house, and is comfortable living with a family that has young children. This is not a party house – it has a relaxed, homely atmosphere.Since the room is fully furnished, you’ll only need to bring your personal belongings. Everything else, including washing machine, vacuum cleaner, kitchen utensils, bed linens, and towels, is already provided – making it ideal for a short stay.We care deeply about hygiene and are mindful of our environmental impact. We avoid excessive heating and prefer to layer up before turning on the heat, so we’re looking for someone who doesn’t work or study from home during the day. You can easily study at the library across the street. If you are often cold and don’t mind a cooler indoor temperature during the day, please do not respond to this ad.If you’re looking for a room in a clean house with responsible people who all work fulltime, a room in an apartment which is fully accommodated in one of the safest areas of the city center of Amsterdam, then this place would be suitable.We care deeply about hygiene and are aware of the climate change (so we don’t want to put our heating extreme high/ or ‘on’ during working hours and we wear a sweater first before putting on the heating). That’s why we prefer a person who does not work/study from home during working hours. Although you can study from the library which is across the street.
